Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical billing procedures (required).

• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding (preferred).
• Prior medical office experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and the community in a respectful manner and provide excellent customer service.
• Process admission paperwork and basic insurance verification for accurate patient identity.
• Answer internal and external calls in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Coordinate bed placement needs to ensure prompt and appropriate placement of patients.
