ConvenientMD LLC in Auburn, Maine, is seeking a Paramedic (Urgent Care Tech) to join our urgent care team. You will triage patients, perform examinations, and support providers with testing and procedures in a fast-paced clinic.

The role requires an EMT-paramedic license and BLS, with strong communication, teamwork, and HIPAA compliance. Travel to multiple ConvenientMD locations within an hour may be required.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification and demonstrated prior experience: Licensed paramedic (preferably nationally certified).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by American Heart Association or American Red Cross; ACLS or CPR-only certifications not accepted.

Responsabilidades

• Patient Care & Triage: conduct vitals, document history, observe patient status and assist exams and procedures.
• Clinical Procedures: perform testing (vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol), point-of-care tests (strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipid panel, urinalysis); provide ECGs, AED use, nebulizer treatments, oxygen.
• Patient Engagement & Documentation: communicate results, explain plans, maintain electronic medical records, monitor changes and escalate when needed.
• Clinic Operations: ensure instruments are clean, sterilized, and ready; maintain stocked workspace for smooth operations.
• Collaboration with Clinical Team: coordinate with providers and training of new team members.
