Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC seeks a Paramedic (Urgent Care Tech) in Sanford, Maine. You’ll triage patients, perform exams, and assist providers in a fast-paced urgent care clinic. This role includes handling point-of-care testing, ECG and airway management, immunizations, and documentation in electronic records.

The position requires a licensed paramedic and BLS certification, with a focus on compassionate patient care and cross-functional collaboration in a multi-location network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with paramedic license.
• Licensed paramedic with prior IV monitoring experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; CPR/ACLS certifications not accepted in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Patient triage with vital signs, history, and observation.
• Perform diagnostic and testing procedures (vision, hearing, drug screens, spirometry).
• Document results and maintain EMR accuracy; assist with patient questions.
• Ensure instruments are clean, sterile, and workspace organized.
• Coordinate with the clinical team to support patient care and training of new staff.
