Job summary

Urgency Room is hiring Paramedics to support patient assessment, treatment, monitoring, and coordination across a multidisciplinary clinical team in Minnesota. The role involves implementing clinician-directed plans, performing advanced clinical interventions within scope, and communicating changes in patient condition to the care team.

We seek candidates with graduation from an accredited Paramedic program, Minnesota Paramedic certification, and at least two years EMS experience, plus BLS,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program.
• Current Paramedic certification in Minnesota.
• Minimum 2 years EMS experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Implement and follow the patient care plan established by the clinician.
• Collect, assess, and document vital signs and clinical data.
• Perform phlebotomy, IV therapy, meds administration, oxygen, EKGs, sterile and sedation procedures.
• Operate defibrillators, bag-valve-mask resuscitators, cardiac monitors, and EKG equipment.
• Administer medications under clinician direction and policies.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to providers and team.
• Provide patient and family education on post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
