Job summary

NextCare in Alice, TX is seeking a Full‑Time clinician to join our urgent care team. This role offers variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast‑paced, well‑supported setting.

You’ll work 12‑hour shifts Mon–Sat with shorter 8‑hour shifts on Sun; clinic hours are 8:00 AM–8:00 PM Mon–Sat and 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Sun, monthly schedules released in advance. We provide a full benefits package, a $5,000 sign‑on bonus, ongoing mentorship, strong clinical teams, and clear

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas license required.
• National board certification or eligibility (PA: NCCPA; NP: ANCC/AANP).
• Active DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in urgent care.
• Manage acute illnesses and injuries.
• Order/interpret labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, wound care).
• Communicate diagnoses and discharge instructions clearly.
• Document care in the EHR and code/bill services.
• Maintain productivity per urgent care benchmarks.
