Job summary

UNC Health in Raleigh, NC is hiring Urgent Care Physician Assistants (PA) or Nurse Practitioners (NP) to join 8 Wake County UNC Urgent Care clinics. Providers treat episodic illnesses and minor injuries, working in a fast-paced, shift-based, full-time schedule.

On-site X-Ray and point of care testing support patient care; EPIC EMR is used. Applicants must have PA/NP training and NC licensure or the ability to obtain.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• NC licensure or ability to obtain.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must provide care to patients 4 months of age and older.
• EPIC EMR proficiency

Responsibilities

• Treat episodic illnesses and minor injuries as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Work in a shift-based, full-time schedule across multiple Wake County locations.
