NextCare is seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our urgent care team in Terrell, Texas. The role offers variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact in a fast-paced, well-supported setting.

Clinicians enjoy work-life balance with no after-hours tasks, flexible scheduling, and schedules released in advance. You will work with experienced teams, clear guidelines, and supportive leadership in a broad, low-acuity patient population.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas PA or NP license.
• Board certification: PA NCCPA or NP ANCC/AANP (FNP).
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain.
• EHR proficiency required.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care).
• Communicate diagnoses and discharge instructions clearly.
• Document care accurately in the EHR and bill appropriately.
• Maintain productivity per urgent care benchmarks.
• Adhere to NextCare clinical standards and values.
