Job summary

NextCare in Victoria, TX is seeking a Full-Time clinician to join our urgent care team. This role offers variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact in a fast-paced, well-supported environment with no after-hours tasks and monthly schedules released in advance.

You'll work 12-hour shifts Mon-Fri with shorter Sat-Sun shifts, covering an engaged patient population. You'll be supported by experienced clinicians, clear guidelines, and accessible leadership, with ongoing growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active Texas license or eligibility for Texas licensure.
• National board certification or eligibility for PA/NP.
• Active DEA license.
• BLS certification active.
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management.
• Communicate diagnoses and discharge instructions clearly.
• Document care accurately in the EHR and code/bill services.
• Maintain productivity in line with urgent care benchmarks.
• Adhere to NextCare clinical standards and values.
