NextCare is seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our urgent care team in Terrell, Texas, at 530 American Way. This role is ideal for an experienced clinician who values variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast-paced, well-supported urgent care environment.

Qualifikationen

• Active, unrestricted Texas PA or NP license.
• Board certification: PA NCCPA; NP ANCC or AANP with FNP.
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages.
• Active BLS certification.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as part of the scheduling rotation.
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain; fees covered.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound management.
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR.
• Code and bill services appropriately.
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks.
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values.
