Job summary

MainStreet Family Urgent Care in Mobile, AL is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join a high-volume urgent care team. You will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages and lead a small team while delivering fast, patient-focused service.

Open to new graduates; strong support and training provided, including on-site HQ orientation, CME allowances, and ongoing clinical decision support in a busy clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification is required.
• MSN or higher degree required; new grads welcome.
• DOT certification preferred or willingness to obtain (cost covered).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using EMR systems and Microsoft Office suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients within PA scope in urgent care.
• Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.).
• Suturing and splinting as needed.
• General orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review radiographs (over-read by Radiologist).
• Provide general dermatology and eye care as needed.
• Perform general EKG interpretations and emergency management.
