Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Erwin, NC seeks a Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced urgent care team on a full-time basis. You will deliver patient-centered care across urgent, primary and telemedicine services, and lead a small team in a high-volume setting.

Ideal candidates include new graduates; you will receive HQ orientation, ongoing training, and support to grow into the role. Excellent clinical decision-making and leadership are valued.

Qualifications

• PA Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher degree required; new graduates welcome.
• DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID and other URIs.
• Perform minor procedures (e.g., toenail removal, foreign objects).
• Suture and splint as needed.
• General Orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review X-rays (over-read by Radiologist).
• General Dermatology and eye care.
• Interpret General EKGs; manage emergencies.
• General GYN care; treat children of all ages.
• Occupational medicine and telemedicine services.
