Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Erwin, NC is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced urgent care team. You will provide patient-focused care across all ages in a high-volume environment and lead a small clinic team.

We offer training after HQ orientation, a $8,500 sign-on bonus, and a path to growth. This role includes on-site duties, robust protocols, and opportunities in telemedicine and rural care.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
• MSN, or higher degree required; new graduates welcome.
• Are you DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (we cover the cost).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions across ages.
• Perform minor procedures and suturing; manage injuries.
• Sutures, splinting, orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review x-rays with radiologist as needed.
• Provide dermatology, eye care, EKG interpretations, and gynecologic care.
• Offer occupational medicine and telemedicine services.
