Job summary

Community Health Network, in partnership with GoHealth Urgent Care, is seeking a Physician Assistant to deliver urgent care services across Central Indiana. You’ll manage acute, episodic conditions, work with or independently from a physician, and ensure patient safety as you assess, diagnose and treat diverse ages.

You’ll perform exams, order tests, interpret results, and educate patients while maintaining accurate EMR documentation and efficient workflow in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of full‑time experience as a licensed PA in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting (required).
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (required).
• Comfortable performing minor procedures including suturing, casting, and splinting (required).
• Proficient in preliminary reads of EKGs and X‑rays (required).
• Physician Assistants: Master’s degree from an accredited PA program (required).
• NCCPA Certification (required).

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and review patient medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments or medications.
• Perform minor procedures including suturing, splinting, and casting.
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR.
• Educate and counsel patients on care and prevention.
• Administer vaccinations and refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Work scheduled shifts of hours as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
