Job summary

Community Health Network and GoHealth Urgent Care are seeking a Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive urgent care for patients of all ages in Central Indiana. The PA will assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients, working independently or with a physician in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires at least 1 year in urgent care or emergency medicine, comfort with minor procedures, and proficiency in interpreting EKGs and X-rays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a licensed PA or NP in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
• Comfortable performing minor procedures including suturing, casting, and splinting.
• Proficient in preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and review patient histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe treatments or medications.
• Perform minor procedures including suturing, splinting, and casting.
• Document patient encounters in the EMR and educate patients on care.
