Job summary

Community Health-GoHealth Urgent Care in Central Indiana seeks a Physician Assistant (PA) Float to provide a broad range of clinical services across age groups. You’ll assess, diagnose, and treat patients while knowing when to elevate to emergency services.

Responsibilities include exams, tests, imaging, minor procedures, documentation, and patient education. team-oriented, fast-paced environment with cross-coverage and stability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year full-time experience as a licensed PA or NP in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients.
• Comfortable performing minor procedures (suturing, casting, splinting).
• Proficient in preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and review patient histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe treatments.
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, splinting, casting).
• Document encounters in the EMR and educate patients on care.
