Job summary
Community Health Network-GoHealth Urgent Care in Central Indiana seeks a Nurse Practitioner to deliver urgent care services across all ages, diagnosing and treating acute conditions, and collaborating with physicians when needed. Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of full-time NP/PA experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine.
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients.
- Perform minor procedures such as suturing, casting, and splinting.
- Proficient in preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical exams and review patient histories.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
- Diagnose conditions and prescribe treatments.
- Perform minor procedures (suturing, splinting, casting).
- Document encounters and treatment plans in the EMR.
- Educate and counsel patients on care and prevention.
- Administer vaccinations and refer to specialists.
- Work shifts of 4, 8, or 12 hours as assigned.
