GoHealth Urgent Care in Central Indiana is seeking a Nurse Practitioner. You will provide a broad range of clinical services to patients of all ages in an urgent care setting, diagnosing and treating acute conditions and coordinating care with physicians.

Responsibilities include physical exams, ordering tests, suturing, splinting, casting, administering vaccines, and documenting in EMR. Must have 1 year NP/PA experience in urgent care or emergency medicine, and state NP license with national

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year full-time NP/PA in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients.
• Comfortable performing minor procedures: suturing, casting, and splinting.
• Proficient in preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree in Nursing.
• National NP certification (AANP or ANCC).

Aufgaben

• Conduct physical exams and review patient medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Perform minor procedures including suturing, splinting, and casting.
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR.
• Educate and counsel patients on care and prevention.
• Administer vaccinations and refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Work scheduled shifts of 4, 8, or 12 hours as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
