Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Urgent Care advanced practice clinician for Olympia Fields. The role requires completing assessments, diagnosing, and managing patient care with support from an interdisciplinary team.

The position offers 20 hours per week, includes benefits, and operates 8:00am–8:00pm seven days a week with weekends and holidays included. Successful candidates have an NP/PA license and nursing credentials in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Active RN and APRN licenses in state(s) of practice.
• Active national board certification in area of clinical practice.
• DEA registration prior to hire; Illinois Controlled Substance License if applicable.
• BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans appropriate for age and condition.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies and therapies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team; refer to physicians when needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR.
• Participate in quality, safety, and education initiatives.
