The role involves urgent care duties, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and responsibilities across evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and patient education.

The position requires an Active RN and APRN license, board certification, and DEA registration. Schedule notes include 20 hours per week with weekend and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Active RN and APRN licenses in state(s) of practice.
• Active national board certification in area of clinical practice.
• Active DEA registration prior to hire.
• Illinois practice: Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire.
• BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice prior to or within 6 months of hire.
• Education Required: Master’s Degree in Nursing

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans appropriate for age and condition.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies and prescribe interventions.
• Collaborate with health‑care team; refer to physician when needed.
• Document accurately in the EMR; ensure compliant coding and billing.
• Participate in quality, safety, and peer‑review initiatives and meetings.
• Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management.
