Job summary

UNC Health Care's Urgent Care Fuquay Varina clinics in the Triangle, NC, seek part-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioners to join an interdisciplinary team serving patients 4 months and older. You will treat episodic illnesses and minor injuries, and provide occupational health exams, with on-site X-ray and point-of-care testing.

This employed, part-time onsite role spans multiple UNC Rex-based clinics, with a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• 1–2 years NP experience in acute, primary, urgent care, or emergency settings.
• NC Licensure or eligibility.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Procedures: Suturing and splinting.
• DOT Certification.
• OSHA knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Treat episodic illnesses and minor injuries as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide occupational health services and exams.
• Maintain on-site X-ray and point-of-care testing workflow.
