Job summary

ExperCARE is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with urgent care, emergency medicine, or internal/primary care experience to join our fast-paced team in Northport, AL. The ideal candidate delivers high-quality care, performs minor procedures, and thrives in a collaborative setting.

You must be adaptable, with strong time management and communication skills, and able to work extended hours and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Certification as an APRN, NP, or PA (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
• Proficiency with EMR systems and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in high-stress or emergency situations and during irregular hours.
• HIPAA compliance and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete medical histories and perform physical exams.
• Review and interpret patient records to determine diagnostic and therapeutic plans.
• Establish presumptive diagnoses and order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
• Administer injections, immunizations, and medications; suture wounds; prepare prescriptions.
• Provide patient education and treatment instructions.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications.
