Job summary

NextCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time urgent care role in West Valley Phoenix. The schedule features three 12‑hour shifts weekly; clinic hours run 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, seven days a week, with a focus on autonomy and meaningful community impact.

You’ll work within a fast-paced, well-supported team and be part of high‑quality, accessible care. Compensation ranges from $60–$80 per hour plus bonus; there is true work-life balance, no after-hours tasks, flexible

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted AZ license for NP or PA.
• Board certification or eligibility; PA: NCCPA; NP: ANCC or AANP (FNP).
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain).
• Active BLS certification.
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR.
• Code and bill services appropriately.
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks.
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values.
