Job summary

Piedmont Urgent Care is seeking licensed Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners for full- and part-time roles in Georgia. The team focuses on high-quality medical care, patient satisfaction, and efficient resource management for both adults and children.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in Georgia.
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP/PA program
• Current DEA registration
• Experience with suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience with reading X-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification (provided if needed)
• Meets credentialing requirements at WellStreet Urgent Care
• Urgent care/family medicine or emergency medicine experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management for adults and children with center physicians.
• Deliver high standards of patient satisfaction by adhering to service and courtesy norms.
• Provide patient care in accordance with staff bylaws and center policies.
• Serve as resource for patients, families, and staff; document services accurately.
• Complete documentation and ensure communication for reimbursement and care continuity.
• Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations.
• Engage in professional development and maintain certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS or NALS) as required.
