Job summary

Piedmont Urgent Care by Wellstreet in Georgia seeks skilled Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners for full-time and part-time roles. The team emphasizes patient-centered care, professional development, and a supportive work environment with strong benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualified candidates will hold an active Georgia license (FNP- C/BC or PA-C), an advanced degree, DEA registration, and relevant urgent care experience. BLS certification is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in Georgia
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP or PA program
• Current DEA registration
• Experience with suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience reading diagnostic studies including X-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification (provided if needed)
• Meets credentialing requirements for WellStreet Urgent Care
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred
• Excellent communication with patients, families and staff

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and provide high quality medical care with appropriate resource management for adults and children
• Deliver high standard of patient satisfaction in line with Piedmont Urgent Care policies
• Provide care within the clinical area and maintain complete records
• Serve as a resource for patient/family and staff
• Document services rendered and ensure proper reimbursement communication
• Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations
• Maintain certification in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS or NALS and other required trainings
• Report to Regional VP of Clinical Operations or Area Clinical Operations Director
