Job summary

Piedmont Urgent Care by Wellstreet is seeking highly motivated Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to deliver compassionate, high-quality urgent care in Georgia. The role emphasizes patient-first service with a strong commitment to safety, documentation, and collaboration with center physicians.

The ideal candidate holds an active FNP-BC or FNP-C license, an advanced NP/PA degree, and DEA registration, with prior urgent care or family medicine experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) in Georgia
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP/PA program
• Current DEA registration
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience reading x-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification (provided if needed)
• Credentialing eligibility with WellStreet Urgent Care
• Urgent Care/Family Medicine/EM experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care for adults and children in cooperation with center physicians
• Deliver patient-centered care while upholding Piedmont Urgent Care standards
• Provide and/or serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff
• Document services accurately and facilitate reimbursement
• Participate in meetings and professional development activities
• Maintain required certifications (BLS/ACLS/ATLS/PALS/NALS) as needed
