Job summary

Prisma Health Urgent Care in Clemson, SC seeks qualified Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for part‑time on‑site roles. FT (30 or 36 hours) and PT (24 hours) schedules are available, with no PRN/per diem or new graduates.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in South Carolina
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP or PA program
• Current DEA registration
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification (we will provide this if needed)
• Meets credentialing requirements for WellStreet Urgent Care
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and other employees

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management to patients in cooperation with center physicians
• Deliver high standard of patient satisfaction by adhering to service and courtesy standards
• Provide patient care within the clinical area and maintain records and documentation
• Serve as a resource for patient/family and staff and facilitate communication for reimbursement
• Complete necessary documentation and communicate to support patient care
• Participate in meetings and activities supporting urgent care operations
• Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications
