Job summary

Prisma Health Urgent Care in Powdersville, SC seeks Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to deliver high-quality medical care for adults and children. The role emphasizes patient satisfaction and teamwork with center physicians.

Qualifications

• Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in South Carolina.
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience reading X-rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification (we will provide if needed).
• Eligible for credentialing with WellStreet Urgent Care.
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with resource management for adult and pediatric patients with center physicians.
• Deliver service with Prisma Health Urgent Care's courtesy standards and patient satisfaction in focus.
• Provide patient care within center policies and maintain records accurately.
• Complete necessary documentation and communicate to facilitate care and reimbursement.
• Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations.
• Maintain certification (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS or NALS) and any required specialty training.
