Job summary

Prisma Health Urgent Care is hiring Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for part-time (24 hours) and full-time (30 or 36 hours) schedules, on-site in Simpsonville, SC. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, teamwork, and opportunities for growth.

The team offers full benefits, malpractice coverage, matching 401K, and a flexible 3-day/12-hour schedule for FT, with no overnights. Applicants should have an FNP- C/BC or PA-C license, DEA registration, and urgent care experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in SC
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP/PA program
• Current DEA registration
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience reading diagnostic studies including X-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification (we will provide if needed)
• Meets credentialing requirements for WellStreet Urgent Care
• Urgent Care/Family Medicine/Emergency Medicine experience preferred
• Strong communication with patients, families and staff

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care for adults and children
• Deliver service with Prisma Health Urgent Care standards
• Provide patient care and maintain records and documentation
• Serve as a resource for patient/family and staff
• Ensure proper communication for patient care and reimbursement
• Participate in meetings and professional development
• Maintain certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS) as required
