Job summary

WellStreet Urgent Care in Anderson, SC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our on-site clinic. You will provide high-quality care to adults and children in collaboration with center physicians, delivering efficient, compassionate patient experiences.

The role offers FT 30 or 36 hours per week or PT 24 hours, with a competitive compensation package, flexible scheduling, and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching and malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in South Carolina.
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP/PA program.
• Current DEA registration.
• BLS certification, provided if needed.
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate and provide high quality medical care to adults and children with center physicians.
• Adhere to Prisma Health Urgent Care standards and ensure patient satisfaction.
• Deliver patient care with proper documentation and record-keeping.
• Serve as a resource for patients, families and staff.
• Maintain timely communication to facilitate reimbursement and operations.
• Participate in meetings and professional development activities.
• Maintain required certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS) as needed.
