Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a dedicated Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our AFC Urgent Care Clinic in Anderson, SC. You will handle non-emergent illnesses in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting, with on-site diagnostics, follow-up care, and collaborative support from MAs and front-office staff.

The role offers a stable schedule: 39 hours per week, with rotating shifts across a 7-day operation, competitive base pay, comprehensive benefits, and employer-paid tail

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted FNP or PA license.
• Active DEA license.
• Minimum of two years independent FNP/PA experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinic.
• Comfortable seeing up to 60 patients as sole provider at peak seasons.
• Travel up to 20% to other clinics; mileage reimbursed over 30 miles.
• DOT certification or ability to obtain.
• BLS or ability to obtain.
• Comfort with pediatric to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for walk-in urgent care patients, including diagnosis and follow-up.
• Perform procedures: suturing, splinting, I&D, wound care.
• Collaborate with medical assistants and staff for efficient flow.
• Educate patients and communicate care plans clearly.
• Document accurately in the EMR.
• Demonstrate commitment to quality and patient satisfaction.
