Job summary

Prisma Health Urgent Care seeks talented Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced center in Murrells Inlet, SC. Full-time and on-site positions are available with flexible 3-day/12-hour shifts and a competitive compensation package.

Providers work with center physicians to plan and implement high-quality medical care for both adults and children, adhering to Prisma Health Urgent Care policies and documentation standards while pursuing

Qualifications

• Licensed as FNP-C/FNP-BC or PA-C in South Carolina
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP/PA program
• Current DEA registration
• Experience with procedures (suturing, drainage)
• Experience reading X-rays/EKGs
• BLS certification provided if needed
• Eligible for credentialing as per WellStreet Urgent Care
• Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine experience preferred
• Excellent communication with patients and families

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate and implement high-quality medical care for adults and children
• Deliver high patient satisfaction per Prisma Health Urgent Care standards
• Document services accurately and maintain records
• Coordinate care with center physicians and staff
• Support operations and participate in meetings
• Maintain required certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS/NALS) as applicable
• Report to Regional VP of Clinical Operations/ACOD
