Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program.
• Current Texas NP license (or APRN equivalent) required/active.
• RN license with compact privilege and Texas APRN credentialing desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive or problem-focused physical exams and health histories.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and other diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per scope of practice.
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans with physician collaboration.
• Counsel patients and families on medications, procedures and health promotion.
