Job summary

Community Health Network and GoHealth Urgent Care seek a Nurse Practitioner to provide broad clinical services for patients of all ages in urgent care settings.

You will diagnose, treat, and manage acute illnesses, perform minor procedures, and coordinate care with physicians as needed. We value independence, strong assessment skills, and patient-centered communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of full-time NP/PA experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting.
• Pediatric and adult patient populations experience required.
• Proficient in suturing, splinting, and casting.
• Proficient in EKG interpretation and basic X-ray reads.
• National NP certification (AANP or ANCC) required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and review patient histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments or medications.
• Perform minor procedures including suturing, splinting, and casting.
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR.
• Educate and counsel patients on care and prevention.
• Administer vaccinations and refer to specialists as needed.
• Work scheduled shifts of 4, 8, or 12 hours as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
