American Family Care, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. The ideal candidate will assess patient needs and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role emphasizes independent patient encounters and effective communication. Requirements include active state licensure as NP/PA, board certification (ANCC/AANP/NCCPA), and DEA/state-controlled substance credentials. DOT certification is also preferred.

Formación

• 1-3 years experience managing patient encounters independently
• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Board Certified by ANCC/AANP/NCCPA (with ER/UC experience preferred)
• Active NP/PA licensure, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate

Responsabilidades

• Perform complete, detailed health histories, review records, and develop medical assessments with appropriate orders
• Formulate medical diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals
• Institute emergency measures and stabilization in urgent scenarios
• Interpret patient data to determine status and management
• Provide healthcare guidance to patients and families
• Other duties as assigned
