Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Urgent Care. The role emphasizes independent clinical decision making, urgent care management, and collaboration with physicians to optimize patient outcomes.

The incumbent must hold a Master’s level RN, Nevada APRN license with prescribing authority, and board certification in FNP/AGNP/ENP, with BLS/ACLS. Prior NP experience in urgent or acute care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s prepared registered nurse (RN).
• Two years minimum experience as an RN. Six months clinical experience as NP preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Nevada APRN license with prescriptive authority and DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage neonatal to geriatric patients in urgent care.
• Prescribe medications per Nevada law and supervising physician guidance.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other health professionals.
• Provide education, counseling, and disease prevention.
• Stabilize patient condition for transfer or follow-up care.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical skills and participate in QA activities.
