Job summary

WellStreet Urgent Care in Atlanta, GA seeks highly motivated Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to deliver exceptional patient care. Join a team dedicated to accessibility, quality, and compassionate service across multiple GA centers.

We offer FT 30–36 hours and PT 24 hours, with no overnight shifts. Competitive package with benefits, malpractice coverage, and 401K matching. Prior urgent care or family medicine experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in Georgia.
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification (offered if needed).
• Meets credentialing requirements for WellStreet Urgent Care.
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care with appropriate resource management for adult and pediatric patients.
• Deliver service excellence and patient satisfaction per Piedmont Urgent Care standards.
• Provide patient care within the center's policies and procedures.
• Serve as a resource for patient/family and staff.
• Document all services accurately and maintain complete records.
• Complete necessary documentation to facilitate care and reimbursement.
• Participate in meetings and activities supporting urgent care operations.
• Pursue professional development and maintain required certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, NALS).
• Report to Regional VP of Clinical Operations or Area Clinical Operations Director.
