Job summary

Piedmont Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our patient‑first team in Douglasville, GA. You will deliver high‑quality medical care to adults and children, uphold our service standards, and collaborate with center physicians to ensure exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) in Georgia
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP or PA program
• Current DEA registration
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification (provided if needed)
• Credentialing eligibility per WellStreet Urgent Care
• Urgent Care/Family or Emergency medicine experience preferred
• Strong communication with patients, families and staff

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management
• Deliver exceptional patient satisfaction and courtesy
• Provide patient care in accordance with policies and bylaws
• Serve as a resource for patient, family and staff
• Document services accurately and maintain complete records
• Complete necessary documentation for reimbursement and care coordination
• Participate in meetings to support urgent care operations
• Maintain certification (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS) and other required trainings
