Job summary

Piedmont Urgent Care seeks talented Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care across our GA centers.

We offer a flexible 3-day/12-hour week for FT status, competitive compensation with bonus, fully covered malpractice including tail, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as a 401K with matching. Career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license to practice as an FNP or PA in Georgia.
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP/PA program.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience with suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience reading X-rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification (provided if needed).
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management to patients; adults and children, with center physicians.
• Deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction by adhering to service and courtesy standards.
• Provide patient care within the clinical area in compliance with policies and bylaws.
• Serve as a resource for patients, families and staff; maintain records.
• Complete necessary documentation and ensure communication to facilitate patient care and reimbursement.
• Participate in meetings/activities to support urgent care operations.
• Maintain certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS or NALS) and any additional specialty training.
• Report to Regional VP of Clinical Operations and/or ACOD.
