You will care for adults and children, perform assessments, orders, and treat acute conditions in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's for Physician Assistants; Master's for Nurse Practitioners.
• Work experience: 1 year in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care; 2 years in Family Medicine considered.
• Licenses/certifications: National Certification; active state medical licensure.
• Additional skills: suturing, splinting, casting; EMR proficiency; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Examining and treating patients.
• Taking patients’ medical histories.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and X-rays.
• Making diagnoses and prescribing medications.
• Educating and counseling patients.
• Ordering and carrying out therapy with patients.
• Giving vaccinations and referring patients as needed.
