GoHealth Urgent Care, in partnership with Hartford HealthCare, is hiring experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to join our urgent care centers in Connecticut. Work in a patient‑centered, fast‑paced environment with an emphasis on quality, access, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants.
• Master's Degree required for Nurse Practitioners.
• One (1) year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care; two years in Family Medicine considered.

Responsibilities

• Examining and treating patients.
• Taking patients’ medical histories.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and X-rays.
• Making diagnoses and prescribing medications.
• Treating minor injuries with sutures, splints or casting.
• Educating and counseling patients.
• Ordering and/or carrying out therapy.
• Giving vaccinations and referrals to additional care.
