Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care in Connecticut is seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to join a patient‑facing urgent care team. We treat both adults and children with a focus on delivering an effortless patient experience within a collaborative care model.

Qualified candidates have urgent care or emergency department experience, a relevant degree, active licensure, and a strong commitment to high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants
• Master's Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
• Active state medical licensure and national certification required
• Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients in urgent care
• Take medical histories and document findings
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and X-rays
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education
• Manage care for both adult and pediatric patients
• Work eight or twelve hours per shift as assigned
• All other duties as assigned
