Job summary

Aems is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. You will evaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses across all ages in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities include order/interpretation of point-of-care tests, imaging, and managing minor procedures, with emphasis on high-quality patient experiences and collaborative care delivery. Nevada licensure and DEA required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current Nevada NP/PA license and DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute illnesses across all ages.
• Order and interpret rapid tests, imaging, and lab results.
• Perform wound care, suturing, and minor procedures.
• Provide patient education and documentation compliant with CMS and clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to maintain clinic flow and quality care.
