Memorial Health System within its Urgent Care area seeks a patient-care support helper. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Physician, you will assist in delivering care, perform clerical tasks, and help maintain a clean, safe environment in accordance with department policies.

Responsibilities include stocking rooms, equipment checks, patient prep, vital signs, and documenting actions, while upholding Memorial Health Values of Safety, Integrity, Quality and Stewardship.

Qualificações

• GED or High School graduate required.
• EMT or CNA certification or enrollment in nursing program or PreMed with Biology/Chemistry major.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to type accurately in writing and/or print legibly.
• Completion of unit-based orientation and clinical guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Check, clean and stock rooms with supplies and linens for the daily schedule.
• Perform equipment checks and report malfunctions to Biomed per policy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and therapeutic environment.
• Use supplies cost-effectively.
• Demonstrate positive guest relations with patients, physicians and staff.
• Document appropriate tasks.
• Follow MPS/EC GPE initiatives.
• Attend mandatory in-services.
• Complete all required unit-specific training programs.
• Provide care to patients under RN/Physician direction; maintain clinical knowledge.
