Job summary

Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine LLC is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support clinicians, take vitals, perform phlebotomy, injections, and EKGs in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Responsibilities include patient intake, lab tests, occupational medicine screenings, and front-desk support. Requires a high school diploma or GED and a Medical Assistant certificate/license with CPR/AED certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate/License preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required or active.
• Strong communication and patient-care orientation.

Responsibilities

• Greets and rooms patients; records vitals (ht, wt, temp, pulse, resp, SpO2).
• Completes patient intake including med history and chief complaint.
• Assists with in-room tests (Hgb Mc, Quick Strep, Rapid Flu, Urine Dip, pregnancy test).
• Performs injections, phlebotomy, setup and assist with procedures; EKGs.
• Conducts Occupational Medicine testing (DOT physicals, pre-employment exams).
• Opens/closes, cleans and stocks exam rooms; handles instruments.
