Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification with 1 year experience or 2 years MA experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required; CPR/ACLS not accepted.
• Compassionate, patient-focused; strong communication.
• Confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and determine urgency of medical needs.
• Take vital signs, obtain medical histories, phlebotomy, and assist with minor procedures.
• Document patient information and maintain EHRs per privacy regulations.
• Explain medications and dosage instructions to patients.
• Collaborate with clinical team and support discharge planning.
