Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program preferred.
• 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience under supervision preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduc t patient registration, secure paperwork and insurance documentation.
• Process co-pays and schedule patient appointments for assigned center.
• Coordinate provider referrals to assigned Specialist.
• Answer patient questions and inform them of status.
• Prepare patients for examination and record medical history.
• Perform basic vitals and escalate critical cases as needed.
• Stock supplies and maintain exam rooms and reception areas.
• Maintain medical records and scan charts to patient files.
• Answer calls and conduct courtesy follow-ups.
