Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in a physician practice or clinic preferred.
• Ability to complete and maintain CPR certification
• Basic computer skills including EMR
• Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment

Responsibilities

• Take patient history and obtain vital signs.
• Perform basic tests and screens (vision, hearing, EKGs, urine tests).
• Perform phlebotomy for lab samples.
• Document lab results and paperwork accurately.
• Assist with exams and procedures and ensure sterile technique.
• Maintain patient records and coordinate referrals and education.
• Keep exam rooms clean and stocked, and support patient flow.
