Mass General Brigham in Southampton, MA is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant II for Express Care. The role involves assisting clinical and non-clinical tasks, taking vital signs, and supporting healthcare teams to ensure patient comfort.

Schedule includes two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation. Flexibility for cross-location coverage (Northampton, Amherst, Greenfield) may be required for training and staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of High School or equivalent; Medical Assisting degree preferred.
• 1–2 years direct MA or medical field experience.
• BLS certification preferred; CMA certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Take vital signs, document information, schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Interview patients, explain procedures and instructions, and provide patient education materials.
• Perform phlebotomy if competent and maintain immunization inventory.
