Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Medical Assistant to support healthcare providers and enhance the patient experience on-site at 55 Fruit Street. You will welcome patients, collect vital signs, prepare examination rooms, document health information, and coordinate with departments to ensure smooth care delivery.

You will assist with clinical duties, maintain a safe environment, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to provide compassionate, efficient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• BLS certification and CMA certification preferred.
• Direct MA experience or medical field work 1-2 years required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, interview, and assist patients while collecting vital signs and health information.
• Prepare patients, exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for visits.
• Accurately document patient information, medical histories, and test results.
• Support laboratory specimen collection and preparation.
• Assist with office duties, patient communication, and coordination with other departments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
