Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• BLS Certification and CMA certification required.
• 1–2 years of MA or related medical field experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist junior Medical Assistants and support onboarding.
• Show patients to exam rooms and record vital signs and other data.
• Explain procedures and instructions; prepare educational materials for patients.
• Perform general office duties and coordinate with other departments; advocate for patients.
• Collect blood and other specimens; perform phlebotomy if competent.
• Maintain inventory of immunizations and manage vaccination administration as allowed.
• Support quality initiatives such as patient identifiers and hand hygiene.
